Midweek Communion
A midweek service for the whole benefice is held in Morland every Wednesday at 10am, following which the congregation have coffee together at the Mill Yard Cafe. The service is modern language, said (no hymns) with a short sermon and lasts 30 minutes or less. It is among our friendliest and most relaxed services, and a great way to get to know people from other parishes.
Carols by Candlelight at St Lawrence, Crosby Ravensworth, 3pm. An informal service of carols round the piano.
Nine Lessons and Carols at St Lawrence, Morland, 5pm. The traditional service of Nine Lessons and Carols with carols for choir and congregation.
Crib services for all the family in Askham (5pm), Morland (5pm) and Shap (5.30pm).
'Midnight Mass' of Christmas Night at Clifton (9.30pm), Bolton (11pm) and Great Strickland (11pm).
